At Kernow Garden Rooms we specialise in the design and construction of beautiful timber buildings that are all tailor made to work in the environment that surrounds them. KGR Build Specifications

All our unique timer buildings can be adapted to suit any specific requirement. Most of the sheds, workshops, garages and summer houses we construct are tailored to the customers vision and needs. The information below has been provided as a guide to outline the building materials used and our standard sizes.

Optional additional extras are available on all our timber buildings which include upgrades such as: rubber roofing providing 25 years maintenance free, GRP fibre glass roofing with a 20 year minimum lifespan, felt shingle roofing in a wide range of colours and shapes including square, hexagonal and scalloped.

Standard Shed Range

The KGR standard sheds are constructed using 2×2 treated frame, 18mm OSB flooring, polyester roofing felt and a single door installation.

Workshop Range

The KGR workshops are constructed using either 3×2 or 4×2 treated frames, 18mm OSB flooring, polyester roofing felt, double doors or 2 single doors with fixed window. Opening windows are an additional £40 per window. These timber builds are perfect for workshops and garages.

XL Workshop Range

The KGR XL workshops are constructed using either 4×2 or 6×2 treated frames (build size dependant) 4×2 roofing trusses, 18mm OSB flooring, polyester roofing felt, uPVC windows and doors in a range of colours. These bespoke wooden buildings are ideal for large workshops and garages, up and over garage doors are also available.

Important Information

KGR prices do include installation and bearers which is FREE within 25 miles of Barncoose in Redruth. If your project postcode is outside our 25 mile inclusion zone a mileage charge will be added at 65p per mile.

With all timber constructions it’s vital to ensure that a flat level base is ready for the building. If you would like Kernow Garden Rooms to prepare the groundworks we are more than happy to do so, pricing the concrete bases is always dependant on the building size and location.
